The Lao Independence Day celebration in Malaysia, hosted by H.E. Thepthavone Sengmany, Lao Ambassador to Malaysia, honoured Laos’s national identity and heritage while strengthening cultural engagement and shared understanding.

Malaysia’s Merdeka Day celebration, held in the presence of H.E. Edi Irwan bin Mahmud, Malaysian Ambassador to the Lao PDR, marked the nation’s Independence Day and reaffirmed the strong bilateral ties, diplomatic cooperation, and longstanding mutual respect between Malaysia and Laos.

The Pi Mai Lao (Lao New Year) celebration, graciously hosted by H.E. Thepthavone Sengmany, Lao Ambassador to Malaysia, highlighted Lao cultural heritage and traditions while fostering unity, goodwill, and regional friendship.

The launch ceremony of Lao Bullion Bank marked a key milestone in Laos’s financial landscape, bringing together industry stakeholders and partners to commemorate the occasion.
